Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Rwanda. 

At Kigali International airport, you will be received and welcomed by our company tour guide who will later transfer your guests house. Later, You will be taken for a Kigali City tour with a chance for you to visit genocide memorial sites local markets and other Places in Kigali as you interact with very hospitable Rwandan people. 

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park. 
Early the morning at 8:00 Am after having breakfast, We drive heading to Akagera national park. Then after check in at Akagera Game Lodge hotel, we relax at the hotel. Then after having lunch will go for boating around 3pm in Ihema lake the second biggest lake in Rwanda, to see the hippos, crocodile and birds on the island then back to the hotel for overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Musanze 
after breakfast we drive for full game drive to see different species animals and birds for 5 to 7 hrs inside the park then drive to Musanze for overnight in Musanze. (Muhabura hotel). 

Day 4: Grave of Dian Fossey. 
Birth: 16 Jan 1932 San Francisco, San Francisco County, California, USA
Death: 26 Dec 1985 (aged 53) Rwanda, Burial: Gorilla Cemetery at Karisoke Research Station, Karisoke, Eastern, Rwanda
After breakfast you will report at the RDB headquarters where your driver-guide will accomplish the necessary formalities for you. You will meet your park guide(s) for a briefing about visiting the Grave of Dian Fossey
“Bio: Activist. She gained international attention for her extensive efforts to save the mountain gorillas of Africa. In 1967 she moved to Rwanda and established Karisoke, a research camp in the Parc National des Volcans.Fossey was murdered in her cabin at Karisoke on December 26, 1985 Her death is a mystery yet unsolved. In 1988 the Life and work of Dian Fossey was portrayed in the major motion picture Gorillas in the Mist, which starred Sigourney Weaver “
then if time allows after lunch will drive heading to Ibyiwacu cultural village for Rwandan cultural experience then dinner and Overnight at your hotel. 

Day 5: Transfer to Rubavu. 

after breakfast will drive to ibyiwacu cultural village to experience Rwandan culture then dianfossey research center then lunch and drive to Rubavu to rest and dinner then overnight in Rubavu. 

Day 6: Transfer to Karongi. 

after breakfast will drive to Karongi
Via Gishwati Mukura National park After check in Moriah hill hotel and having lunch then will go for boating to visit different Islands in Kivu, like Napoleon Island, peace Island, King &Queen islands. Then dinner and overnight in Karongi. (Bethanie hotel}. 

Day 7: Transfer to Nyungwe. 

After breakfast will drive to Nyungwe national park via Nyamasheke for canopy work ways
Then after experiencing canopy and having lunch and overnight at rusizi where you will enjoy the view on BUKAVU in DRC (hotel du lac). 

Day 8: Kamiranzovu Waterfall. 

After breakfast at 7h30am will drive will drive to Gisakura park Reception about 8h50 am for Kamiranzovu waterfall experience then after will have lunch at Nyungwe nziza Eco-lodge, relaxing and enjoying the cremate of Nyungwe forest then dinner and overnight (Nyungwe nziza Eco-lodge tents).

Day 9: Nyungwe (Source of Nile). 

After breakfast at 9h00am will drive via Gasarenda to the source of Nile found in Nyungwe rainforest the furthest source of Nile that discovered by Dr. Richard Kandt from Garman in July/August 1898 then after drive to Huye the city of history for dinner and overnight (Galileo hotel). 

Day 10: Murambi Memorial Site, Ethnographic Museum, King Palace Museum and Transfer to Kigali. 

After breakfast will visit Murambi memorial site then drive to visit some historical places and ethnographic museum in Huye then after drive to Nyanza for king palace museum visit, then after drive back to kigali for dinner and overnight (Kigali view hotel). 

Day 11: Transfer to the airport. 

After breakfast will drive in Kigali city checking out gifts and souvenirs shops, then end the tour at Kigali International Airport for Departure .
